Dutch Hammock Store is the Dutch webshop for high-quality hammocks and hammock-related products from brands such as Dutchware, Chameleon, HammockGear, NamaGear, and more. We are an official Dutchware dealer and ship from stock within the Netherlands and Europe.
2. Where is Dutch Hammock Store located?
We are located in Dordrecht, the Netherlands. Orders are shipped from our warehouse in the Netherlands.

4. How can I order a hammock?
Select your desired product, add it to your shopping cart, and follow the simple checkout process. You can pay via iDEAL, PayPal, credit card, and more.
5. What are the shipping costs?
Within the Netherlands, we offer free shipping on orders over €50. For orders below that amount, we charge a low flat rate. Adjusted rates apply for Belgium and other EU countries.
6. How quickly will my order be delivered?
Orders are packed and shipped as quickly as possible. However, since Dutch Hammock Store is a one-person business run alongside a day job, there may be occasional delays in processing and shipping.
7. Can I return my order?
Yes, you have a 14-day cooling-off period. Please contact us via email to register your return. Products must be unused and returned in their original condition.
8. Do your products come with a warranty?
Yes, we offer supplier warranties on all our products. If something is wrong, we’ll be happy to resolve it quickly in cooperation with our suppliers.
9. What is the difference between a single-layer and a double-layer hammock?
A single-layer hammock has one layer of fabric and is lighter—ideal for lightweight backpacking. A double-layer hammock has two layers, offering more support and allowing you to insert a sleeping pad between the layers. However, we don’t recommend using a pad, as it compromises the comfort and function of a hammock.
10. What is a Dutchware Chameleon hammock?
The Dutchware Chameleon is a modular hammock designed by Thomas Restler (trail name “Dutch”). You can add components like a bug net, overcover, or other accessories. It’s one of the most versatile hammocks on the market and part of the top three brands alongside DreamHammock and Warbonnet.
11. Do I need an underquilt?
If you're sleeping in a hammock, an underquilt is definitely important. Even in summer, we use an underquilt because the temperature drop at night can be significant. It prevents heat loss from your body.
12. What suspension systems do you sell?
We offer whoopie slings, tree straps, beetle buckles, and other Dutchware hardware. Each system has its pros and cons—feel free to ask us for advice.
