At Dutch Hammock Store, we do everything we can to deliver your hammock or related accessories quickly and carefully. Below you’ll find all information about our shipping policies and return procedures.

 

Shipping within the Netherlands

For orders of €50 or more, you benefit from free shipping within the Netherlands.
For orders under €50, the current carrier shipping rates apply.

Since Dutch Hammock Store is run alongside other business activities, we do our utmost to dispatch your order as quickly as possible.
Sometimes this is the same day, sometimes a little later — but always with attention and care for your order.

 

Shipping to Belgium and other EU countries

Customers outside the Netherlands can also place orders with us.
For shipping to Belgium and other EU countries, the current shipping rates apply. These are automatically calculated at checkout based on the destination and the weight of the order.

 

Returning your order

Is your hammock or accessory not exactly what you expected? No problem — at Dutch Hammock Store, you can return items within 14 days of receipt.

Simply send an email to [email protected] with your order number and reason for return.
You will then receive further instructions on how to return the product.

 

Custom Orders

Custom or personalized orders are specifically produced based on the customer’s requirements and specifications. Such orders are therefore excluded from the right of withdrawal. Custom orders cannot be returned, exchanged, or canceled once the order has been submitted to our supplier. We advise customers to carefully review all provided details, designs, and specifications before confirming the order. Should any uncertainties or discrepancies arise, we reserve the right to contact the customer prior to commencing production.

 

Conditions for returns

To process returns smoothly, please note the following:

  • The product must be unused, undamaged, and complete.
  • The original packaging should be present, as far as reasonably possible.
  • Returns must be pre-registered via email.
  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the product is defective or incorrectly delivered.

 

Refunds

When a returned product can be restocked, a refund of up to 80% of the purchase price (excluding shipping costs) will be issued.
The remaining 20% is retained to cover restocking and inventory costs.

If a product is used, damaged, or can no longer be sold as new, the refund may be lower or the return may be refused.

Refunds are processed within 14 days of receipt of the returned item, using the same payment method as the original order.
